How We Got Here
Back in 2018, our founder Niamh Gallagher was sitting in a café in Brisbane when she overheard a conversation that changed everything. A young couple was arguing about their savings — not because they didn't have a plan, but because they couldn't stick to it. The tools existed. The knowledge was out there. But accountability? That was missing.
She spent the next year interviewing over 200 people about their financial habits. What she found was simple but profound — most people knew what they should do with their money. They just needed a system that held them accountable without making them feel judged. solvynteriq was born from that realisation.
By 2022, we'd helped over 3,000 individuals and families across Queensland develop sustainable financial practices. We're not financial advisors — we're accountability partners who help you follow through on your own goals.

Niamh started solvynteriq after years of watching friends struggle with financial follow-through. She holds a degree in psychology and has spent the last eight years studying how people actually change their money habits. Outside of work, she's usually hiking somewhere in the Gold Coast hinterland.
Saskia Veldman

Saskia joined solvynteriq in 2020 after working in community education programs. She's the person who makes sure every client feels heard and supported. Her superpower is turning complex financial concepts into simple, actionable steps. She's also an amateur baker who brings sourdough to the office every Friday.
